I took the course over 6 weeks to allow the lessons to sink in.
So much to be learned in a few short modules so I best get back to module one and start over! It was delivered in a relaxed but informative style with just a hint of sarcasm and realism a British style! I very much enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone considering a career in writing or indeed publishing.

To further develop students' writing skills and critical analyses of prose intended for children and young adults, within the context of contemporary Australian publishing. Students will explore contemporary fiction and non-fiction for young people and write, workshop and edit manuscript drafts to publishable standard. Joseph Coelho will share insights into how he developed his own voice across different mediums, from poetry and playwriting, to novels and non-fiction. Alex Milway will talk about his experiences engaging and inspiring young readers through his books — from plotting to marketing and school events.
